The maximum dimension of an advertisement is A5 (148 x 210 mm). Any advertisement that exceeds this size will be rejected.
Minimum booking period is two (2) weeks (calendar days) starting every Monday. Bookings can be made for two (2), four (4), eight (8), sixteen (16), twenty-six (26) or fifty-two (52) weeks. Expired advertisements will be discarded upon expiry of the booking period without further reference to the Advertiser(s).
An advertiser cannot display more than two (2) advertisements at each notice board during the same display period (two weeks).
All contents or any amendments thereto shall be submitted to JCDecaux by Wednesday 2359hr (11.59 p.m.) for posting on the following Monday, failing which posting will be postponed correspondingly to the next Monday after the following Monday and JCDecaux shall not be liable to the Advertiser(s) for such delay.
No cancellation will be accepted after payment is made. In the event that the Advertiser(s) requests that the advertisement(s) be withdrawn before the end of booking, there shall be no refund of the payment made.
The Advertiser(s) shall warrant and undertake that the advertisement copy will not breach the copyright or other rights of or be defamatory to any third party.
JCDecaux shall have the right to reject or discontinue the display of any advertisement which in its sole opinion is objectionable, unsuitable for any cause or likely to contravene Singapore law or for any other reason without reference to the Advertiser(s). In such an event, JCDecaux shall not be liable for any refund, responsibility, liability and/or losses suffered by the Advertiser(s).
Booking is deemed to be confirmed only after receipt of confirmation via email/WhatsApp/SMS from JCDecaux.
Posting of advertisements is subjected to space availability and ultimate posting position and/or placement of the advertisement(s) shall be at the sole discretion of JCDecaux.
JCDecaux reserves the rights to remove and/or relocate any notice board by giving one (1) week’s notice to the Advertiser(s) and in the event of emergencies without prior notice to the Advertisers, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, site/safety issues, and/or instructions from the Land Transport Authority. In such event, an alternative site for the advertisement(s) will be offered to the advertiser.
For all rejected ads, JCDecaux shall not be required to refund the Advertiser(s) for any payment already made. Advertiser(s) will be given 3 working days for re-submission, and amended advertisements will be posted on the following Monday.
Ads will be accepted and printed in either colour or black and white (advertiser's choice) and landscape format for online bookings. Portrait ads will not be accepted.
The Advertiser(s) will indemnify and keep JCDecaux indemnified against all actions, proceedings, costs, damages, expenses, penalties, claims, demands and liabilities arising from or in connection with any breach of the above, any infringement of copyright, trademark, patent or other rights whatsoever and/or consequence of the use of any advertisement copy arising out of or in connection with or matter supplied by or posted on the Advertiser(s)’ behalf.
JCDecaux reserves the right to do any of the following, at any time, without notice: (1) to modify, suspend or terminate operation of or access to this Application or any portion of this Application, for any reason; (2) to modify or change the Application, or any portion of the Application, including but not limited to the booking process, and/or other features and any applicable policies or terms; and (3) to interrupt the operation of this Application, or any portion of the Application, as necessary to perform routine and/or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.
15.1 What is the Booking process
After the order and payment have been submitted, advertisers will be contacted via e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp to confirm the booking. Advertisers will be contacted within three working days if there are any issues with the advertisement, or they can expect that the advertisement will be published the following Monday.
15.2 What is the cut-off date for advertising copy to be received?
Advertisements to be posted on the following Monday must be submitted to JCDecaux by Wednesday 2359hr (11.59 p.m.).
15.3 How long does it take to process my advertisement?
Advertisements submitted on Wednesday 2359hr (11.59 p.m.) will be posted on the following Monday if they are approved. If the advertisement does not meet the technical specifications, advertisers will be required to resubmit the advertisement within three working days for it to be published the Monday after next, otherwise the booking is considered cancelled and no refund will be given.
15.4 What is the maximum number of advertisements I can place at the same location?
An advertiser cannot display more than two advertisements at each notice board during the same display period.
15.5 What is the minimum & maximum booking period?
The minimum and maximum booking period for each advertisement is 2 weeks and 52 weeks respectively.
15.6 How do I know when my advertisement booking is confirmed?
After the order and payment have been submitted, advertisers will be contacted via e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp to confirm the booking.
15.7 What if I cannot make payment?
Payment can be made only via eNETS or Visa when the ads are booked online. If you have trouble accessing the webpage, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Service & Cancellation Policy
16.1 Where is my advertisement displayed?
The advertisements will be displayed on notice boards located near neighbourhood bus shelters and MRT stations. Advertisers may select the locations where the advertisements will be published from the website.
16.2 How many locations are there? Where?
There are 46 locations island-wide located close to MRT stations, the full list can be found under “Select locations”.
16.3 What if my advertisement is rejected?
Advertisers will be required to resubmit the advertisement within three working days for it to be published the Monday after next, otherwise the booking is considered cancelled and no refund will be given.
16.4 Can I make changes to my advertising copy which is already booked and approved?
No, there shall be no amendments to the advertising copy once booked and approved?
16.5 Once booked, can I cancel my order? Will I get my money back?
We regret that no refunds will be made for any cancellations after payment is made.
16.6 Can I remove an advertisement before its expiry date?
In the event that advertisers wish to withdraw the advertisement before the end of booking, there shall be no refund of the payment made.
16.7 What happens to expired advertisements?
Expired advertisements will be removed from the notice boards.
17.1 How we use the information we collect
We may use the information collected and received from you for the following purposes:
To verify your identity, update our records and maintain your account with us
To process transactions
To process or resolve any dispute arising from or in connection with any transactions, in accordance with our Terms of Service
17.2 Who we share your information with
We may share the information with third-party service providers who assist us in performing certain aspects of our Services. Such service providers will only have access to your personal information to the extent necessary to perform their functions.
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary to prevent fraud or crime or to protect our Services or the rights, property or personal safety of any person.
17.3. Protecting your information
We have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control. We also follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information transmitted to us over the Internet. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
It is important that you protect against unauthorised access of your Account and information by choosing your password carefully, and keeping your password and Account secure (e.g. by signing out after using our website or app).
